Important Notice to All players

The Saints Playing Charter
(established in 2010)

You play for Northampton Saints Cricket Club and as such are available for selection for all 5 Teams.

The Selection Committee is compromised of the Club Chairman and the four team Captains (contact details are below). Selection takes place on Tuesday Evenings at 7.30pm. If you have any views on selection, please contact the appropriate Captain or Chairman of Selectors yourself rather than through a third party (i.e. Team-mate or Parent).

These officials have been appointed by the Management Committee and ratified at the Club AGM.

Availability to play will be taken each week. It is vital that you are clear about whether you can play or not. Ideally it would be polite to let your captain know of any known absences i.e. Weddings/ Holidays well in advance. Clear availability will lead to less disruption to all players in the club and save the captains numerous phone calls at the end of the week.

Annual subscriptions will be collected by the end of April. 

It is your responsibility to pay and myself and all the Captains will be coordinating this for 2010 season.

Northampton Saints 4th XI

Please ensure that prior to turning up on a match day you have your Match Fees, this will make life easier for the captain. Cash flow is imperative for the club & late payments of either Annual Subscriptions or Match Fees may lead to a suspension from playing until paid.

Practice will take place on Thursday Nights for all Senior Teams.

We are an amateur Club run by an excellent Management Committee and numerous volunteers. We have a fantastic Colts set up and the Club is the envy of many in the area. As a player you are an ambassador. With that in mind it is requested that all players wear Club shirts and caps/hats (if necessary) during league matches.

Nets are outdoors from Thursday 7th April at Birchfield Road on Thursday evenings from 6:00pm. All senior players are welcome, and all team players are strongly encouraged to attend these evening sessions.

Cricket Force 2011

The Annual Cricket Force Weekend will be on Saturday 9th April from 10am. We look forward to seeing as many members and players up at the ground as possible on the day to help get everything ready for the start of the 2011 season.

The Duck Pond. As we successfully raised £80.00 last year, we will be running a Duck Pond again at The Saints in 2010.

Based along the lines of the Primary Club, to join the elite group of cricketers in the Saints Duck Pond, displayed in the Clubhouse, you need to score a duck. For a £1 joining fee, you can add your name to the Duck Pond, raising money for the club in the process. Gents, get your £ coins ready please....

Juniors: £35 per annum
